Wednesday Wonders 9
Craft, Austin Kleon, Sven Wunder, Qobuz, Secrid.
1. Craft

I've been using Craft off and on for nearly ten years now. As a notes app, it has always been outstanding for its use of nested pages and the attention to detail paid to every aspect of the design. More recently, it became incredibly good at managing tasks in a manner reminiscent of a digital bullet journal. With the advent of the new LifeOS system I've been developing (read more on that HERE), I have discovered that Craft implements this incredibly well and I have moved most of my work and life back into the app.
2. Austin Kleon

I don't remember when I first came across Steal Like An Artist, but I know I've read it cover to cover many times since, as I have the two follow-ups. Austin Kleon is an artist and writer from Texas who is always doing interesting things and writing about them, daily, on his website at https://austinkleon.com/. A few minutes spent reading this site in the morning is a major tonic.
3. Sven Wunder - "Daybreak"

Sven Wunder is a Swedish musician and composer who had not blipped my radar until Friday, when his new album popped up on Qobuz (see below). Daybreak is a jazzy, loungey, funky description of the sun moving across the sky in the course of one day. I have been playing this thing on repeat for days. Check it out.
4. Qobuz

We all know that physical media in all its forms beats the hell out of streaming. But sometimes we want a little portability, or we want the opportunity to discover. Spotify is the work of the devil, Apple Music is kind of OK but clunky. And then there is Qobuz, the French streaming service that incorporates writing about music, an eclectic curated list of highlights, and the highest quality digital files available. On top of all this, Qobuz apparently pays more to artists than any other streaming service. And, if you're of a mind to, you can buy hi-res digital albums that are DRM-free and yours to keep forever. Qobuz charges a monthly subscription, which I know isn't popular in an age where everyone expects to get their art for free, but at least the artists actually get to see some of that money.
5. Secrid Wallets

And talking of money, Dutch firm Secrid make a wallet designed for the modern (card) age. The functionality is awesome - your cards fan up at the flick of a switch. I'm on my second one now, and I don't know that I could ever go back to a regular wallet.
