An announcement of sorts.
I'm in the process of renaming this site from Infodump to Cartoon Gravity. This is due to a number of different factors...
- I haven't been doing anything with this site or the newsletter for a while. I feel like it's time tp get it going again, and a name change and a facelift seem like a good way to kick it into gear again.
- I'm bored of the name INFODUMP, and it feels kind of limiting, like I HAVE to put some kind of information up here. Maybe I don't want to. Maybe I want to allow myself a broader remit.
- I really like the phrase Cartoon Gravity, but I've had no use for it until now. So today I bought the domain name and am going to put it to use.
Cartoon Gravity will still feature things that I'm interested in, tools and methodology that I'm using etc. But it can also be more than that. I kind of want it to be a scrapbook, a journal, a mood-board... All kinds of things. There's a lot of talk about "second brains" knocking around at the moment and I'm wondering of Cartoon Gravity might become a kinf od public second brain (is that a third brain?)
Anyway, I have no idea if anyone is reading this, but if you are, Hi! Things are going to shift and change around here, but I'm going to try not to ditch any of the old content and hopefully there will be some good new stuff coming. Please stick around.
