Unconfusion

Things have shifted and been rearranged of late, so I wanted to just lay out a kind of org chart (it's not an org chart) of the various sites/subscriptions/forums that I maintain, and how and where they can be accessed.

This is Cartoon Gravity. I consider it my home page. This is where I post random thoughts and ideas and links etc. I try to post here daily, but I don't always succeed. There is also a newsletter that goes out most weekends and that tends to be a longer form piece about whatever I'm finding interesting, along with a round up of the week's posts (daily posts don't tend to get e-mailed unless, like this one, it seems sensible to toss them into your inbox). Cartoon Gravity is a public space and it is free to subscribe to.

The Cartoon Gravity Club

This is an incredibly charming online community where people just hang out and discuss pretty much anything other than politics. The space is divided into different rooms, so there are areas devoted to the Pleasant Green and Kaleidoscope universes, as well as books, movies, music, process etc. This is also the place where people can comment on and discuss posts on the main Cartoon Gravity site (comments having now been deactivated here). The Cartoon Gravity Club is free to join and the entrance is here.

Development Hell

This is my semi-regular newsletter about screenwriting and related topics. It was originally a Substack, but it has recently moved onto the Cartoon Gravity site. Development Hell is available on a paid-subscription-only basis. You can subscribe from within the Cartoon Gravity site, or upgrade your existing free subscription to paid.

NOTE: Development Hell subscribers are automatically also subscribed to Cartoon Gravity newsletters (you can opt out now that the two newsletters exist as separate entities - if you are a Development Hell subscriber who doesn't feel the need for my Cartoon Gravity witterings, you can unsubscribe from those whilst still receiving the ones you are paying for.)

The Pleasant Green Site...

I also maintain the Pleasant Green Site, which is for those interested in the Lovecraft Investigations audio series and related stuff in the Pleasant Green Universe. Despite both sites being maintained by me, there is no crossover whatsoever in terms of subscriptions, newsletters, posts etc.

Hopefully this eases any confusion that has been caused by recent reorganisations. I think it's all nice and simple now.
