2025-07-14 - A Holding Pattern

As weeks go, this has been a tricky one. Our daughter is off inter-railing, which brings with it a fair amount of anxiety from both sides. I sprained my back last Monday morning, which has meant I have spent the past week in incrementally decreasing amounts of pain. And then there has been the heat. It would be fair to say that not a lot of work has been done.

It actually feels like everything is kind of a mess right now; work, organisation etc, so it's a good thing that I'm escaping for a few days to Paris. I'm taking nothing work-related with me, and I plan to empty my head for the time I'm there. Then, when I'm back, I'll take stock of the movie I'm writing, the novel I'm writing, the whole crowdfunding-admin thing and, of course, the Crowley scripts. Hopefully I can find some sense of order in all the chaos and start to move forwards on stuff again.
